Free Programming Tryout Session for kids 6 to 12 years

Kids can Code offers a FREE Tryout Session for 10 Children in the age 6 to 12 years old to learn how to create their own programs using Scratch.

As technology dominates our lives, learning basic computer programming isn't just a smart idea, it's an essential skill for grown-ups and children alike. Learning how to build simple animation, interactive stories and games helps kids refine their design, logic and problem-solving abilities. It also allows them to express ideas and creativity in unique ways!

For learning how to code we use the Scratch programming platform. Scratch is a graphical programming language, developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Elements such as variables, conditions, and loops are offered as puzzle pieces that kids snap together to write code. It will help the students to focus on their goals to create applications instead of struggling with the syntax of a programming language. Kids can share their creations with anyone and check out what other people have made. The child's imagination is the limit on what she or he builds!
