Kids can Code 2018-2019 sessions starting on July 7 2018
After our successful first year of Kids can Code classes we are happy to announce that we will offer again the regular Kids can Code classes during the school year 2018-2019.
During the regular Kids can Code classes, we have the following activities for the students.
- Introduction to basic computer coding for one month, including creating animations, storytelling and creating simple games.
- Creating visual projects by drawing with computer code and at the same time learning about the characteristics of basic shapes.
- Creating animated stories as a group project, using storytelling techniques, computer coding and animations.
- Learning about electronics and creating electronics projects by connecting sensors, displays and motors to a computer to interact with the real world and to display information from the real world in their applications.
We like to request to place a poster of the “Kids can Code” classes at the bulletin board of the school to give students of your school the opportunity to learn how to code during the school year 2018-2019.
The regular classes are scheduled on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. Classes will start every month for new students.
The classes are for students from grade 3 to grade 6 elementary and grade 7 to grade 10 high school.
The fee for the classes is P500 per session. (20% discount when students bring their own laptop or when 2 students or more from the same family participate)
The venue is at: 2780 Molave Street. (Behind STI/West Negros University)
